Let The Summer Begin!
For those of us living in the northern hemisphere, today is the first official day of summer. If you aren't already, go outside, blast some music, and start dancing. You're gonna need the practice. Only 3 days left until EDC VEGAS!
The 15th Annual Electric Daisy Carnival will be celebrating its decade and a half birthday nearly 300 miles from its residence for the last three years, Los Angeles, CA. Also new to the festival will be the Heineken Domes stage, expanding on EDC's previous 5 stage setup. And as the 24th of June approaches, DJs producers, and EDM enthusiasts from around the world are flying into Nevada's entertainment capital for this weekend's festivities.
To keep you entertained, here are a few tunes from some more DJs spinning at EDC Vegas.
Murakami (Album Version) - Tritonal
Straight off their first artist album, Tritonal's Texas duo brings a non-vocal Trance tune in the likeness of Armin van Buuren and Ferry Corsten's collaboration Minack. However, if these two were pitted against each other in a contest, I'd have to give it to Tritonal
Move It 2 The Drum (Original Mix) - Hardwell & Chuckie
A Tech Housey collaboration from two of EDC Vegas's DJs, Move It 2 The Drum may be a little bit of an older track, but with its popularity I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up in both of their sets, one remix or another.
Koko (Original Mix) - Sander Van Doorn
Sander Van Doorn is no small name in the EDM world, and Koko is no small track. Its high flute melody combined with a great build has made its mark, enjoying several remixes, as well as being in a fantastic mashup by First State.
White Noise/Red Meat (Original Mix) - Dada Life
Typical Dada Life, pounding synths and fantastic builds. This song is excellent. Although it has been in their set since at least New Years Eve when I heard it at Together As One, but its a huge banger and I doubt they'll be taking it out anytime soon.
Save the World (Alesso Remix) - Swedish House Mafia ft John Martin
Remember last summer when SHM's hit One and the Congorock remix was present in nearly every set you heard? Well expect to hear Save the World or the Alesso remix if you ever see any house or progressive house shows this summer.
